SiteX PROJECT GUIDE

Place the power connection. See how distance affects the early cost.

Choose overhead or underground service and place the connection point. SiteX builds the route and updates the distance and early estimate.

How SiteX chooses the service path

SiteX compares a direct service path with a route that joins and follows the Project driveway. It keeps the driveway route unless the direct path is more than 50 ft shorter; if no usable driveway route exists, SiteX uses the direct path. This applies to both overhead and underground grid service. The selected distance is used in the early cost calculation. Enter a residential installation credit only when the utility offers one; the utility confirms whether a credit applies and determines the final service requirements and price.

EARLY PLANNING, NOT UTILITY APPROVAL

SiteX provides an early route and cost estimate. The utility still confirms service, capacity, connection, equipment, easements, requirements, approval, and final pricing.

Plan the power route while the rest of the site is still flexible.
